Valley Village 5th Annual Trail Walk
Valley Village is thrilled to invite you to our 5th Annual Trail Walk in beautiful Townshend, VT! Join us Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 9:30 AM for a fun-filled morning of fresh air, scenic woodland trails, and community spirit. Rain Date: October 4, 2026.
Whether you’re an experienced hiker or prefer a leisurely stroll, there’s a route for everyone!
Scenic Trail Route: Enjoy a 1-mile moderate loop through the woodland trails behind Valley Village, featuring some narrow paths, uneven terrain, and short climbs.
Leisurely Stroll: Prefer a gentler pace? Take a relaxing walk around our gravel walking path on the assisted living side lawn – a great option for those looking for a more accessible experience.
Registration:
- Pre-Registration: $20/participant at Valley Village
Helpful tip: When registering online, you can select “Other” from the dropdown menu where Zeffy suggests adding a 17% contribution, then enter “0” in the Contribution box. A contribution to Zeffy is not required to register for the event.

Day-of Registration: $25 per participant
Every participant will receive an event T-shirt and enjoy morning refreshments. Most importantly, your participation supports Valley Village’s nonprofit mission of providing affordable community housing, care, and compassion for those wishing to age in place with others.
